There are a lot of places to visit in New Delhi, the capital of India but here few historic places .

Lotus Temple – Lotus temple is the Baha’i house of worship. It is dedicated to the oneness of all the religions. It is the most famous temple of New Delhi.

Akshardham Temple – The Akshardham temple is one of the most popular and recently built temples in New Delhi. The temple was constructed by Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) inspired by Shree Pramukh Swami Maharaj – a leader of BAPS. The temple is dedicated to lord Swaminarayana – lord Krishna. It is located on the bank of Yamuna river. It is spread over 100 acres area. The temple is built without steel and supported by around 234 carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 Shikhars, and 20,000 statues of great devotees and sadhus of India are carved inside the temple. The base of the temple is made of Gajendra Pith. Pink stones and white marbles were used to construct the temple because pink stone symbolize Bhakti (faith) and white marble symbolize peace.

There are many other places to see and visit in Delhi like the ISKCON Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Jantar Mantar, National Rail Museum, Parliament House, etc.
