I’ve just returned from an amazing week in Tenerife! The island is such an amazing place to stay, I can’t believe I have never been out there before!

My friends and I had always gone off to island resorts together, pretty much every year for the last four or five years. We had been to a few different Greek island, and we had been to Mallorca once, but nothing prepared us for our stay in Tenerife. It may well have helped that this time we had done a bit of preparation before we jetted off. I came across a great Tenerife travel guide before we had left which had loads of helpful hints and tips tin order to get the most out of our visit. We normally just pick a destination, arrive there and explore as we go, which is great, but this time we took a bit of time to find out where the best bars were, which areas had the nicest beaches, and we also found out where we could hire some quad bikes which would make getting around the place that bit more easy. We also checked out the weather on Tenerife Weather and the climate looked perfect for us!

Once we arrived we found that we had a great hotel, and that seemed to be something particular about Tenerife. Everybody we spoke to mentioned how good their accommodation was. We had noticed in the past that if you booked a four star resort, you could expect something between two and three star accommodation, but that rule didn’t seem to apply to Tenerife.

It was a great place and a great holiday. We can’t wait to go back.
